Business Development Manager

Full Time -  Permanent


This exciting new leadership role will be responsible for identifying prospects, nurturing leads and driving member acquisition to achieve growth targets across our diverse membership community and for our accreditations. A key part of this role involves delivering excellent customer service to prospects and applicants and strengthening the capability and culture of our wider staff team to support member acquisition and sales of accreditations within our evolving sector.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience of member / client acquisition and the ability to identify and pursue opportunities
  • A 'can do' attitude and the ability to embrace opportunities and change
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to distil messages clearly
  • Ability to engage with different audiences, switching tones and approach as needed
  • A thirst for learning, increasing skills and becoming an essential part of our team
  • Strong IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational / project management skills
  • Commitment to the values, aims and objectives of our Association
  • Willingness to travel
