Women in Parking

 WIP Web Banner

Since launching in September 2020, we have created a network of over 200 people wanting to be part of the conversation. The primary focus is to support women and men by creating opportunities through networking to discuss shared experiences and commonalities to support one another.

One of the key themes for us is to look at diversity within the BPA Membership and across the Parking Sector. Working with the BPAs Technology, Innovation and Research Department, the Women in Parking (WIP) advisory group is spearheading a diversity research project to help us understand the diversity breakdown within the sector. This project came from discussions with members during the WIP open meetings, highlighting the need for us all to see the bigger picture of what the challenges are and the steps we need to take as a sector to become more diverse and inclusive.

Over the next 12 months, we are looking to increase the network and have quarterly online meetings and create opportunities to network at BPA events. We will also look at ways to help with career progression, professional development and getting more involved with the BPA.

You can join our mailing list and be one of the first to know about upcoming events, how you can get more involved, and where we will be next.
