Discussing suicide prevention in car parks

The second in our series of webinars entitled ‘Discussing suicide prevention in car parks'.

This event will begin with short presentations from a small panel that includes speakers from the USA, UK parking operators with current issues, and representatives from the Zero Suicide Alliance and Lincs Crime and Prevention Partnerships, before opening up to receive your questions in a live Q&A session.

Join us to hear the experiences of parking operators currently dealing with frequently used locations in what will be an interesting discussion on delaying or disrupting suicide attempts, as well as the opportunity to ask your own questions.

So that we can get through as many questions as possible, we invite you to submit a question in advance. In the event that we receive a high volume, questions will be grouped into themes to be put to the panel with some taken on the day as well.

Email Joanna.a@britishparking.co.uk to submit your question.

The panellists:

Larry J Cohen CAPP of the Lancaster Parking Authority, Parking and Mobility Institute (IPMI)
Tracey Wetton, Head of Risk Management, National Car Parks (NCP)
Alan Woodison, Group Fleet and Health & Safety Manager, Saba
Russell Simmons (Chair), Stripe Consulting, Chair of BPA Structures Group
Alexandra Close, Project Manager, Zero Suicide Alliance/Mersey Care
John Manuel, Police Designing Out Crime Officer, Lincs Police
