In November 2015 we launched the first parking accreditation for landowners which incorporated high standards for parking across the organisational aspects and in the car park. This is called the Professionalism in Parking Accreditation (PiPA).

Through PiPA, the BPA recognises and celebrates the highest standards of professionalism in parking. We have initially launched PiPA specifically for healthcare landowners such as NHS trusts, and other sectors in the parking profession will follow (for the recently-launched PiPA for higher and further education landowners, please see below).

Healthcare landowners can now apply for and achieve PiPA. The first-ever accreditations were awarded to the following organisations at a prestigious House of Commons reception in November 2015:

P1040959               P1040961

BPA President for 2015/16, Philip Hammer, presents Keith Loader of Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust and Frank Miller of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust with PiPA certificates for each trust.
