North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner, ENGIE, have awarded its parking management software contract to ZatPark following a competitive tender process. While the contract is effective immediately, the software won’t go live until October 2021 once it has been through the usual implementation process.

This win comes at a time of success and growth for ZatPark, with an ongoing recruitment drive under way, and a recent announcement of an international new business win from one of Germany’s largest private operators – Innovativ Parken.

Dave Herbert, CEO at ZatPark said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract by North East Lincolnshire and we look forward to working with them to bring the software into full operation later this year.”

Councillor Stewart Swinburn, portfolio holder for environment and transport at North East Lincolnshire Council, said: "We are really excited about working with ZatPark. Their comprehensive parking management system will allow us to deliver dynamic management and enforcement activities, enhancing the service that we deliver to motorists across the borough.”

ZatPark currently works predominantly for private parking operators but has a growing list of local authority clients which includes Cornwall Council and Lyme Regis town council.
