The successful applicant will manage existing civil parking and bus lane enforcement services across a large geographic area. They will ensure the Council’s procedures and service are robust and meet all legislative requirements. This will take excellent management and leadership skills with an ability to inspire and lead the team. The successful applicant will also need to lead work to develop, negotiate and implement strategic options in conjunction with partners and other services to keep traffic flowing freely.

Parking Manager

Parking in East Hertfordshire is entering an exciting new phase. They're about to appoint a new enforcement contractor and the coming years will witness significant developments in the Council’s on and off-street parking offer. They're also proud to manage parking enforcement services for two neighbouring councils, Stevenage and Welwyn Hatfield.

Leading a team of eight you’ll ensure their parking services are delivered to the highest standard as well as contributing to a range of Council-led initiatives where your specialist input is needed.

Your achievements to date will include successful management of a wide range of local authority parking services. A genuine passion for service delivery and innovation allied with a strategic vision for the delivery of a modern parking service will also set you apart as the ideal candidate for this role.

JustPark are looking for a target driven sales professional with considerable transaction management / leasing / parking experience to join our field sales Business Development team. The successful candidate will be ideally be in Southampton or Portsmouth, working along the South coast of England.

  • Providing financial forecasts and presenting detailed proposals to stakeholders
  • Taking ownership of deals from client origination to signing

  • Working with the product team to build new products and tools for clients

They would like you to have the following skills and experience:

  • Self-starter, highly driven with a positive attitude
  • Strong Real Estate network, ideally both agency and Landlord contacts
  • Goal orientated, with the ability to work independently within a team environment
  • Interested in business, start-ups, Prop-Tech, technology
  • Comfortable qualifying leads, pitching the JustPark solution and closing deals
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persistent
  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects with minimal direction
  • Financially literate and proficient with MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
