The BPA are once again taking part in the Autumn 2013 political party conferences during September and October, as part of the Transport Hub.
The Transport Hub is a group of transport-related organisations who are working together to put on a series of events that will highlight issues they wish to influence government on. This year’s participants include the Freight Transport Association (FTA), the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA), the Airline Operators Association, All Party Light Rail Group, Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics, Light Rapid Transit Forum, Living Streets and Sustrans.
The BPA events form part of the fringe activity at each conference with each session entitled “Placing the customer at the heart of parking management” and exploring the view point of each of the panel members, as well as providing the audience with the chance to ask questions of the panel members.
This year, the main focus of our events will be “Placing the customer at the heart of parking management”. This aligns closely with our core 5 Year Master Plan and will examine how local authorities can drive better traffic management while placing the road user at the heart of their thinking.
