The Priory Meadow Shopping Centre in Hastings
has once again successfully retained their Safer Parking Award Park Mark®
status.
The centre has been accredited since 1 December
2002 and over the years has maintained a very high standard with no reports of
theft of or from vehicles, which is an excellent achievement. Over the past twelve months, with a vehicle
throughput of some 763,000, only 3 vehicle related incidents had been reported,
resulting in the parking facility being safe and non-threatening for customers.
The management practices in place are of a very
high standard, the facility is regularly patrolled by security, together with
good lighting and electronic surveillance. Regular cleaning and maintenance
programmes are in place, which creates a bright and clean environment.
Mike Bibby, Safer Parking Development Manager
South East, said, “I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all
personnel on the standards we witnessed today when completing the re-assessment
for the award. Customers can be confident their safety and that of their
vehicles is paramount and they can be assured every effort is being made to
keep any issues to the absolute minimum. The parking facililty is well
maintained, clean and well worthy of Park Mark® status.”
The status was awarded following a recent
re-assessment by Dennis Donovan, the Sussex Police Accredited Assessor and Mike
Bibby, Development Manager South East.
