BPA launches Model Contract

The BPA has recently launched an updated and refreshed Model Contract for Parking which is designed to be used by organisations that appoint service providers to manage their parking and associated services.

The Contract helps these organsiations by making public procurement more straightforward and better value for money. The main benefits are: -

  • Helping improve the level of service by providing a standard template for the procurement of services
  • Encouraging best practice by ensuring that performance is measured on the quality of service provided
  • Easing negotiations for both supplier and service provider
  • Easing the workload of organisations and time spent designing and preparing contracts

The BPA has worked with the government, local contractors and service providers to produce the Model Contract and the final version has been endorsed by the Transport Select Committee and is also included in the Statutory Guidance. It is available to both Members and Non-Members.
